Since you know in advance when your interview will be, you can plan and ensure that you have enough time. #2 Know your motivation Ask yourself the following questions and know how to answer them in English: Why do you want to work abroad? How long do you want to live and work abroad? Why did you apply for this job? How are your school and work experiences relevant to your new job? When you can answer this question you show you are prepared well and have what it takes for the job. When you are on the move, driving or walking, it’s not the best time to do the interview. We hear you thinking β€œI could have thought of that myself” , but it would not be the first time. πŸ’‘ Tip: Inform your parents, flatmates or partner about your job interview so that no one bursts into the room and distracts you. Especially for video calls, you need a stable internet connection, a working camera, and a microphone so everyone can see and understand you well. In addition, you should make sure that you keep your background as neutral as possible. Good lighting is also nice to have!
