Because the country is so big, it is impossible to put the climate under one category. Germany is between the maritime climate from the northern side and the continental climate from the other side. So take this into account when you go to work in Germany! It can be very sunny but also very windy and rainy. It depends on which part of Germany you choose to make your new home!

If you are going to work in Germany, don't be surprised by the beer consumption! They drink over 92.5 litres per person per year. The Germans are also real meat eaters, especially sausages, currywurst and bratwurst. In Germany, the McCurrywurst was even available for a while!

If you go to work in Germany and return just before October, you might think that you will miss out on Oktoberfest. Or not! This is because Oktoberfest actually takes place in September and not October. In Munich, people deal with 16 to 18 days of festivities yearly. The world's biggest folk fest involving plenty of beer in Lederhosen and Dirndls is a must-see. If you are unfortunately just too late for Oktoberfest in Germany, we always have the festivities surrounding the Christmas markets ready for you in December. Both celebrations traditionally include good drinks and good food!
