Job description

As a Customer Service Agent (m/w/d) in Athens you support German-speaking customers of an international manufacturer of coffee machines and grinders. You work in after-sales support and answer questions about operation, warranty and repairs by phone, email and chat. Your team is international and your customers sit in Germany, the UK and Ireland.

Your new job in Customer Service for coffee machines

Your employer builds high-end coffee machines and grinders that stand in kitchens and +small cafés across Europe. You answer questions about operation, warranty and spare parts, and you narrow down technical problems with the customer, for example when a grinder jams or the milk nozzle stops frothing. Everything runs through phone, email and chat, and you log it in Salesforce. Alongside German-speaking customers you also help customers from the UK and Ireland. More complex cases go to experienced colleagues, and that is a step you can grow into yourself. You work Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 19:00.

Your new life in Athens

When your shift ends at 19:00, Athens is only just getting going. Most newcomers live in shared flats in Koukaki, Pangrati or Neos Kosmos, all three on the metro and full of small tavernas where a gyros costs just a few euros. After work you walk up Lykabettus for the sunset or meet colleagues for a beer in Exarchia. At the weekend the tram gets you to the beaches of the Athens Riviera in about 40 minutes, and in winter it carries on much the same, just with fewer people. What rent, groceries and going out actually cost is covered in our overview of what living in Greece really costs. If you want a picture of the city first, our page on working in Athens tells you everything you need to know. Your first four weeks are in a hotel paid by your employer, and so is your flight. All you need is your suitcase and a seat on the plane.

Does that sound like your next chapter? Apply now and soon you will land in the vibrant Athens ! 🇬🇷

Why you don't want to miss this chance!

Paid flight to Athens
Four weeks of free hotel accommodation on arrival
Hybrid working possible
