Job description

Looking for a remote job in Spain? Work as a Dutch-speaking Customer Service Advisor for Menzis and help Dutch customers with their health insurance questions. You join one of the biggest health insurers in the Netherlands, straight from your home in Spain.

Your new job as a Customer Service Advisor for Menzis

Menzis insures more than 1.4 million people in the Netherlands, so there is always someone with a question. As a Customer Service Advisor, you handle incoming phone calls from Dutch policyholders. Most calls are about premiums, reimbursements, the compulsory deductible (eigen risico) and what each insurance package covers. Think of questions like "What does my basic insurance cover?", "Are my braces reimbursed?" or "Is my invoice correct?". You listen carefully, check the customer's situation and find the right solution together. You choose between part-time and full-time: you work 24 to 39 hours per week, spread over four or five days. Your shifts always fall between Monday and Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00. Personal schedule requests are not possible. 🩺

Working remotely from mainland Spain

You start with a paid, full-time training of two weeks, where you learn all the ins and outs of the job. The first two days take place at the office in Alicante. You receive a travel allowance, and possibly accommodation if you live far away. After that, you work fully remotely from your home anywhere on the Spanish mainland. That gives you plenty of choice: live near the beaches of the Costa Blanca, spend your weekends at local markets or explore the natural parks inland. Curious what an ordinary weekday feels like? Read what a typical day in Spain looks like. Prefer city life? Living and working in Valencia means futuristic architecture and lively squares, while Murcia treats you to authentic Spanish culture and a long history. Or stay close to the training office and discover life in Alicante. With living costs well below Dutch levels, your salary stretches further than you might expect. Find more options on our page about jobs in Spain.

To start, you need a Wft Zorg certificate (the Dutch qualification for advising on health insurance). Don't have it yet, but willing to get it before your start date? That is possible too.

Apply directly through this vacancy. 🇪🇸
