Located in the Mediterranean Sea between Sicily and the North African coast, Malta is a small but spectacular island nation known for its rich cultural heritage, beautiful beaches, and ancient ruins. No matter the time of year, there’s always something to do in Malta. Here’s a roundup of the best activities the island has to offer each month!

 

January- Visit the Blue Grotto Caves

 Kick off the year with a bang by visiting the stunning Blue Grotto, a series of sea caves located on the south coast of Malta. Take a boat tour to explore the caves and swim in the crystal clear waters.

 

February – Visit the Blue Lagoon

February is the ideal time to explore the Blue Lagoon, located on the island of Comino. The crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches make this one of the most beautiful places to visit in Malta, and the perfect spot for a day of relaxation. Spend your day sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling in the warm waters, or take a boat tour and explore the nearby caves and coves. Next to that, you could spend a day at the Malta National Aquarium to explore the underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea. March – Visit Mdina

April – Explore Gozo
